“Historic Preservation = Sustainability” Symposium in Historic Las Vegas, Dec. 1, 2012

Preserve Nevada and the University of Nevada Las Vegas invite individual presentations and group roundtables on topics related to the intersections of historical preservation and sustainability. We seek:

(1) case studies of ongoing or completed public history/preservation projects from across North America;

(2) analyses of new green building materials and emerging technologies;

(3) “lessons learned” from collaborative projects involving renewable energy companies, government agencies, and cultural resources managers.

To participate, please submit a 200-word abstract of your presentation to Preserve Nevada executive director Summer Burke.

Deadline: September 15, 2012.
